Thank you President Obama for bringing jobs and investment into America!

Let's hope Trump doesn't ruin this great economy. We need to protect America from his dangerous economic policies.

Not optimistic on that

Not sure what this has to do with Trump?

He just seems to be hanging off the coattails of the work of other people.

That's pretty par for the course with him

I'd much prefer US corporations like Apple investing in Japanese companies (and vice versa), instead of the Chinese companies who are merely puppets and proxies for the Communist Party.

At least the Japanese corporations have an established history of investing in the good ole' USA, like Toyota and Honda having manufacturing plants in the States for many many years now, and those Japanese companies have genuinely provided thousands of jobs for Americans. The USA-Japan is a mutually trustworthy alliance politically and economically, we help them, they help us back.

The Chinese? Can't trust them. They just take take take, don't give back.

Your selective memory is leaving a few things out (as noted in my previous post). The country is not better off than it was before. It may feel nice now (for some), but all that debt that was generated will need to be paid off by the American people sooner or later. Obama leveraged the assets of the American people that were supposed to be for future Presidents and members of Congress, all to try to make a legacy for himself. You know it. I know it. We all know it.

Well, if you don't like this great economy and would prefer America to become poorer, then that's your problem, not mine.

Being poor has always been a trait of the red states & counties. The vast majority of the US economy voted for Clinton, because we liberals know how economics works, and prefer to keep our wealth.

Do as California does. They have a great economy.

People are fleeing CA for TX (along with companies) because of the insane policies that liberals push. Literally over 9,000 headquarters left CA over the last 8 years, many of which headed to TX. But you're right, red states don't know economics.

Liberal's vision for economics is about the same as Tim Cook's vision for Apple. Garbage. You can't just spend yourself out of any problem. The simple fact is the government will never be more efficient at spending an individual's money than that individual can. Now the adults are in the driver's seat of this country and need to reign in the children. Time to try and turn around these insolvent social programs so much of the country has become dependent on.

By the way, you know if you really like all those social programs and big government, you CAN give the IRS more than is owed, nothing is stopping you. I'm thinking you won't though...

Why can't Texas grow their economy as great as California?

What is Texas doing wrong that makes them so backwards economically compared to California?

Texas really needs to learn from liberal California on how to do everything right. Liberals always do things correctly, and conservatives just makes everyone poorer.
