SE has that perfected Touch ID gen 2/Haptic Touch from 7/8, and small size introduced in 2014 and continued until 2017.
Macbook airs too that came out a few weeks ago, no Touch Bar (hoorah, always preferred my 2016 pro was the no Touch Bar one) and reliable scissor old school keyboard with more much needed key travel.
The old apple feels back. Hitting a certain market with both (budget, education, corporate, smaller device and basic needs)
You can get both for $300 more than just a Pro max. $200 if you get a $900 air with edu.. what value.
Not knocking the Pro max too, eventually I will fork over for a $1000-1100 upgrade, but wanna be extremely tactful about it
