Does Pangu works for it?
I just picked one up yesterday and it was on 9.0. I doubt it'll be updated beyond that at this point.I just ordered an iphone today and it says it will ship by 10/28, any idea what it will ship with now that this has been released? Will it hopefully come with 9.0.2 or will it most likely come with 9.1?

Hold down OPTN when you click the Update button. If Apple is still signing 9.0.2 then it will be available to upgrade to.Hi I didn't update my iPhone and iPad in time. I'm on 8.4. Can someone please tell me the steps how to upgrade to 9.02? I tried earlier today but when I go to restore it asks me to update with 9.1.
I've never had to do this can someone please tell me how to upgrade to 9.02 before they stop signing.
Thanks for your help.

Relax, the window won't close for a few days probably.
Go to https://ipsw.me and select your device and chose the 9.0.2.
Backup your device to your computer if desired and also unlock Find My iPhone on iCloud Settings.
Connect the USB cable and put the device into restore mode (I think you have to hold both power and home for like 10-15 seconds)
With iTunes hold ALT key and click restore button and chose the 9.0.2 file you downloaded.
Hold down SHIFT when you click the Update button. If Apple is still signing 9.0.2 then it will be available to upgrade to.
Are you sure? I don't want to click shift and update and I lose my jailbreak. Sorry, I'm a woman and not very techie.
Thanks but I'm a little confused. The post above says to click on shift and update.

They can not install the update without you giving the phone/itunes permission.is apple pushing updates to the phone?is that even possible? I woke up with my phone in a boot loop... it was jaillbroken and working fine and now i have to restore this thing.. volume up did not work.... sigh...
No, that's definitely unrelated. iOS updates require you initiating the process. The boot loop was due to something going wrong with your jailbreak. You can fix it by downloading 9.0.2 outside of iTunes and shift+restoring to it in iTunes and then rejailbreaking. It is extremely unlikely that it will come with 9.1. It is much more likely that it will have 9.0.2.I just ordered an iphone today and it says it will ship by 10/28, any idea what it will ship with now that this has been released? Will it hopefully come with 9.0.2 or will it most likely come with 9.1?

Yes, but there aren't features compelling enough for me to jailbreak anymore, as opposed to keeping up with the latest updates and improvements. I remember jailbreaking with iOS 4 and installing Intelliscreen, bitesms, SBSettings, etc and most of those tweaks are now features. I updated to 9.1 and my phone has feels faster.Jail breaking is not about giving excitement but making the experience better on iOS. JB is not for everybody I suppose.
