I'm ordering a SSD(Either a OCZ Vertex 2.34 or a Samsung 470), and just want to make sure it'll get 3.0Gb. It says the link speed is 3.0, is it just because it's the OEM 5400RPM drive that it's 1.5Gb?

Thanks

Thanks, I guess I (wrongly) assumed that the stock Apple drives were SATAII.

Some are, some aren't. It doesn't really make a difference though because that isn't slow enough to bottleneck the 5400 RPM HDDs. I think the drive that came in mine was.

Good deal, thanks.

Now I'm just trying to decide if I want to get RAM first, I decided to give Parallels a shot and like running Win7 "inside" of 10.6; I never run anything on Windoze(I just have it incase something for school only runs on it), so I'm not sure if I should get the SSD or RAM first.
I just bought a champion purebred Dachshund, so for the next month he'll be taking most of my money, his vet charges more for a routine visit than my doctor does lol. And his insurance doesn't kick in for another 2 weeks, so everything is out of pocket 🙁
