So all these new product launches lately have gotten me thinking. Apple has made huge strides with the best and greatest in the fields they attack. Why can't they design tangle resistant headphones. It's amazing how knotted up my iPhone headphones get in my pocket in a matter of seconds. There must be a way to prevent this or the very least make them come untangled much easier.
 
A curled cord would tangle less, but that would introduce tension and bulk.

you're right and you're right. I don't think a curled cord is the right solution. I think it has to do with the material that covers the wires not being so grippy and holding itself.
