Many in the blind comunity ar starting to notice the bugs in VoiceOver that go unaddressed sometimes for years. The general consensus seems to be that VO has stagnated on the Mac and people are going back to Windows because there are third-party screen readers that provide users with the know how to improve the usability and efficiency of apps. People are saying that Safari is difficult to use with VoiceOver even on AS machines.
I just read about this - its legal in most US states and with auto adaptations in all states!Came to say the same! I don’t think is legal anywhere
Bonnie J. Consolo was born without arms and did everything expected of a 70s housewife, including driving (and her car was not modified, making the feat even more amazing). A film about her was nominated for an Academy Award in 1975. Her interview with Mike Wallace for "60 Minutes" was one of the most watched for the program for many years. That was a great ad, but the most incredible thing was that I've just discovered is you're allowed to drive with your feet 🤯
When I asked about "elaborating", I meant from a content perspective, not a tone nor attitude side. If someone is going to say "siri is useless to me", that's fine, but they need to state specific examples or use cases so that those who are trying to fix the problem have something to work on. For people who are disabled in speaking, they would cite reasons that that avenue is mostly unavailable to them.In general, when asking for help or a favor, it's better to start off being tactful rather than negative or harsh ("Siri is useless to me.").
That's all. Keep it polite and adult-like. I really do believe Apple will follow up in some manner.
