I think we can achieve both. It’s totally unacceptable that my 17 PM has scratches while being IN A CASE.

It's not going to scratch that easily on polished wood, try it on a more abrasive surface Apple.

I think we can achieve both. It’s totally unacceptable that my 17 PM has scratches while being IN A CASE.

Mine has no scratches and has been used with and (at home, most of the times) without a case.

Very good ad. The front screen may be durable enough for normal wear and tear but I have anyway installed a Spigen screen protector. Don't want to take any risk. The Orange in the ad looks nice and I love my 17 Pro Max in the same color.

The only real lost functionality is the 0.5x camera. The lack of weight is rather palpable though. It’s like lowering the weight of a rally car but removing the rear brake lights.

The physics doesn’t look right. The phone seems to slide at constant velocity for most of its travel, as if the table was frictionless (not to mention the air drag) except for the last meter or so.

Maybe it’s covered with oily ice or it’s a magnetic levitation table.

Did you watch the JerryRigEverything video? He confirmed it's much more scratch resistant than any other smartphone, and doesn't scratch like glass would.

There's always going to be a new phone around the corner. Especially if they're switching half the main line to spring and leaving half in fall as rumored.

To each their own. What works for you has no bearing on anyone else. If you want to wait _8_ months out of a 12 month product cycle to get something new, knock yourself out! 🙂

It’s January, only 4 months since the 17 series launched?! The 18 series will definitely not be launched in July (6 months from now) and when it does get released, there’ll probably be no point buying because it’ll be old a day later, so may as well wait for the iPhone 19 😃
