I'm all for emojis but anyone else losing track of them all? Takes me forever scrolling through the keyboard to find the one I want.

Agreed. It also seems like there's more and more that no one would ever use, and very few you'd think they would have. Just try to find a collection infants, nursing babies, etc. I think there was one so-so choice when I last looked. (I was sending a congrats text to my daughter after she gave birth)

Can’t help but seeing Tim and Phil vehemently playing their TouchBars during World Emoji Day

It's actually good to see that Apple and the Unicode peeps aren't just catering to the SJW community, but also to fans of Jordan Peterson.

I think that you should be able to “hide” unused ones...
Like a few of the flags of places you’ll never reference, etc.

super expensive new laptops for stupid emojis! $1100 phone for emojis! no new mac pro workstation for those who need one.

I tend to ignore links used as arguments alone. Use whatever content is in the link to synthesize your own argument regarding the topic at hand, which is specifically whether emoji will replace the English language, using the link (and any others) as a source. It’s not my job to form your argument in my head on your behalf.

Because if you don’t do that, how do I know that you didn’t find some random link on the Google machine and paste it here without first checking to see whether it’s relevant to the discussion and supportive of your own viewpoint?

Since emoji will apparently replace the English language, please provide your response in emoji only.

Ahh, damn that marketing department for trying to market something to the general public who like and use the feature.
I wouldn't say "damn them," but I certainly feel there is nothing wrong with a consumer (one who is a fan and spends thousands and thousands of dollars on Apple gear) mildly criticizing the focus (or lack thereof) of the company.

Why someone would choose to die on this particular hill defending Apple is beyond me, but cheers.

Emoji have already had an effect on the spoken language. People were using the flame emoji in texts to imply something was really good, and now in conversation they're saying something "is flames" when it's really good.

Pretty sure you mean something is firenot flames lol
