Apple Highlights Upcoming Spring and Summer TV Shows

Apple today went on a press blitz sharing details about upcoming Apple TV+ content during the Television Critics Association Winter 2021 Press Tour, highlighting new original TV shows and movies that are set to come out in the spring and summer of 2021 or have recently been released.

In a two minute YouTube video, Apple shares quick looks at "The Morning Show" season 2, "See" season 2, "For All Mankind" season 2 (now available), "Servant" season 2 (now available), "Central Park" season 2, "Mythic Quest" season 2, and new shows "The Mosquito Coast," "Lisey's Story," "Schmigadoon," "Mr. Corman," "Foundation," "The Shrink Next Door," and "Physical."

Movies that include "Palmer" and "Cherry" are highlighted, along with the upcoming Billie Eilish documentary, and there are also brief glimpses at many previously-released TV shows and movies.

"The Mosquito Coast" will be one of the first new originals to come out this year, with the show set to premiere on Friday, April 30. The second season of "Mythic Quest" will follow on May 7.

"Physical," "Lisey's Story," and "Schmigadoon" will all be premiering sometime this summer. Apple is also developing second seasons of "The Morning Show," "Truth Be Told," "Central Park," and "See." On Twitter, Apple shared release dates for upcoming content, with a list available below.

Eh, we thought See was enjoyable. At the time, one of the better TV+ offerings.
A second season is not a surprise.

OOOOOOH, I went frame by frame through that sizzle reel!! SOO much exciting stuff!! Mr. Corman and Shrink Next Door are two new series I saw flash by - with JGL and Paul Rudd respectively. 2021 is going to be an even bigger year than 2020 for Apple TV+ (I don't know how they top the stellar year that was 2020, but looks like they are aiming to).

I can't wait for the returning series!! See, Morning Show, Home Before Dark, Mythic Quest and Central Park were all amazing. Really happy to see them getting some love. (Especially See, which had horribly unfair reviews. What a great show).

Why? It was one of my favorite shows of the year - and it's an international hit. One of their most watched shows along with Ted Lasso and Morning Show, also smash hits.

Second season of Trying already filming/filmed from what I've read. Apple isn't going to short change any quality shows (unlike Amazing Stories, which was not quality).

Am I the only one who doesn't get hooked by any of the shows? 😂😂
I always end up like this when I try to watch the Apple TV originals: start the first episode of a show, watch the first 15 minutes, feeling it boring as heck, then start fast forwarding/jumping to the end of the episode and see nothing interesting in the middle, then go to another show...

So interesting differences in things. I loved Ted Lasso but couldn’t even finish 2 episodes of See. Maybe I need to give it more time?

Greyhound was also a decent war movie.

If I was jumping around tv shows I probably wouldn’t like them either.
How are you going to understand plot and character development enough to feel invested enough to like anything?

Watching "See" made me think of Sharknado with a higher production value.
