It is a smart play for Apple to further monetize non-Mac users, as they are the ones that probably make up the majority of iOS users.
Why leave that money on the table for competitors to grab?
The focus on iOS is coming full circle, as it is now the hub that Apple will use to satellite it's software services out of.
Hopefully this means the software quality will go up, because Winfans WILL use something else if Apple gets it wrong.
However, this may pose a danger to the Mac altogether.
why would having a new form of iTunes be a danger to Mac?
