Hi,

For the past few years, Apple has had an extended holiday season return policy. Any item bought at an apple store between November 1st and December 25th only had to be returned by January 8th (20th in European markets). Plus you could use the items and return them as long as they weren't damaged.

Is this happening this year or was it cancelled?

Not sure. I would think this year would be similar to years in the past. You can contact Apple directly or through chat to answer your question.

I've asked in online chat and in the store and they say they don't know. Apparently Apple hadn't changed the policy yet. Seems late to me. I would think that would delay sales. I'm waiting. Posts from prior years makes it sound like the receipt may indicate the holiday return policy even if its not public ally described on the website. Anyone seen a recent receipt?
