Really disappointed in Apple about TAKING away the $199 entry point iPod Touch.
There is no product in the $150-250 price range target market.

Wait wait wait...you can get a new iPhone in that range....just have to fork over 50-100 bucks a month.

Yep and if you wait a year, Apple will be updating the 16GB to the newest A5 design.

If you're talking about the latest entry level, yeah it's definitely gone from the menu. But because there's still an entry level (but 4th gen), they actually have an entry level except its severely outdated. Hopefully next year there's a 16GB iPod 5G or 6G or whatever.

Apple is saving one more life for Ipod touch next year by releasing the 16G version for US 249 and new color (black front, back red). Although, 8G is out of the question. Camera is 5MP and shoots 1080 video, that's like 100mb plus for each you capture. 8G will be gone within the first hour you bought the Touch.

I think 32G is suitable, so you don't have to worry of filling up the capacity all the time.
