show me a person with a dual 2.0 ghz G5, 8GB's of Ram, and a 10,000 RPM hard drive that is complaining about how slow his/her computer is.

CG and Multimedia/AV professionals. Top end PC's are significantly faster than the dual 2ghz G5's.

Dont forget, not everyone just browses the web and plays with iTunes.

Apple seems to be fixing many problems too..

Apple seems to be fixing many of their products problems too. like the ibook g4 has gotten excellent ratings, in fact our local news station rated it A++ for reliability and support and useability, and this was against dell and hp and sony and such. All they need now is ipod batteries that don't die :p (as well as longer lasting pb and ibook batteries?)

How do you know whats round the corner software wise that might be e revolution for mac users! Give it time. and Time Again. A little bit more time... and Bing there yo go.

Apple is a little bit like cooking a turkey little bit longer, just a little longer and bing comes out great then afer a while you feel stuffed(shafted) and feel that you will do better next time you cook a turkey :)
Everyone is in a rush to buy the newest and fastest but at what costs. Have you noticed products are released, feed-back is given by us (the end user) and updates are made. Currently Apple is in the feed back stage. If you buy it the minute it is released you have to deal with all the bugs and issues before they are addressed. Just wait and buy when it is at it's optimal stage.
