    Hi,

I just started to set up my new rMBP 15" (Late 2013). After installing and activating the apple services (iMessage, Apps over the AppStore,...) you will get a mail from Apple where it says that your Apple ID was used to sign in on a Mac with it's corresponding name.

My problem is, that Apple says that my device is an Macbook Pro 13".

    But that's wrong - it's a new retina Macbook Pro 15".

So - what went wrong and where can I change it?

I already set up Mavericks from recovery - but still the message.

    Who can help?

I'm seeing that too. Likely just a temporary glitch.

My old machine was recognized correctly (the one in my signature), so at least in my case it appears to be limited to the new rMBP. I wouldn't worry about it.

Does it list you machine as a 13" there? If so, and everything matches up (serial number) contact Apple to fix it.
