Apple ID - constantly needing to sign-in!

Seriously.
What gives with my Apple ID.
I haven't signed out of anything yet it is regularly forcing me to sign-in again - iPhones, iMacs, AppleTV.
Why?
I do not understand!

Me neither. My daughter’s phone makes her do this constantly. In her case I think it may have something to do with her having one Apple ID for iCloud and another for itunes, and one of them being associated with screen time limits, but I still haven’t figured it out.

Yes, what a pain, but this only happens in certain situations and has backed off recently (15.3). Apple is now using your Apple ID for security issues. Perhaps a price for greater security...

Yeah. This really annoying. I was trying to reactivate my Apple Music subscription and it just kept asking for my Apple ID password, inter-spaced with "You need to deauthorize this computer." I gave up and resubscribed with the Apple Music app ON MY GALAXY NOTE which worked first time! C'mon Apple.

For me this happens when you have something like a load of app updates. Each one needs a sign in because the default now is for it to require a sign in each time so 5 updates requires 5 sign ins.
If you go into your Apple ID media and purchases settings on a mac, you can change this to 15 minutes or never and this will help a lot (this should apply to your phone then as well).
I don't know how to do this on iOS though. I don't think that option is there.
