Apple ID locked for security reasons

Hey!! I just locked the door till Logan is here and told him that my Apple ID is locked for security reasons!!

So I’m locked Out of my Apple ID for a hour while he was typing the wrong password and contacted the apple support team to help this issue

Click on unlock account and I ask to put my phone number!so I put my phone number in and it’s asking to send the code to my phone number and it’s telling me that the code has been sent to my phone number

Now it’s saying:

Enter the password for your Apple ID.​

Apple ID: [redacted]@gmail.com and used the password!!

Got the message stating:

Your account is ready to be unlocked.​

After you unlock your account, you can sign in with your Apple ID and password on the web or another device.

Call Apple support! This suspiciously looks like some sort of phishing scam. I don’t think anyone on here can help you unlock your account. Only Apple can do this.

Also, I would edit your post to remove your email address. At best you’re asking for spam and at worse some scammer on here will try to use it to do whatever bad things.

I would change your iCloud password immediately and also make sure you have 2FA enabled for your AppleID.
