Apple Id Problem

    I recently changed my email address from gmail to mobile me and when I went to update it on my apple Id I also changed my apple Id to my new email address which means now itunes thinks Im a different user so I cant get updates or anything for apps Ive downloaded and at the same time I cant go back to my old username so Im a bit stuck....anyone know how to solve this?

    A MobileMe email automatically has an iTunes account attached to it, so you can't use that address for an existing account. You cannot transfer iTunes purchases from one account to another AFAIK.

    This problem has been brought up before, but I'm unaware as to whether a solution is available.

    My suggestion would be to explain your issue to iTunes support.
