Apple ID security help

Hi

Having a bit of a nightmare with my AppleID.

I had the new 2 factor on my account but for reasons had to turn it off temporary thinking I could turn it back on straight away!

I went back into the Apple account website and only saw an option for two step so clicked that and it tells me I have to wait a certain time to set this up.

I realise now that its not possible to turn the new two factor on from the website, so I went to my devices but I no longer have any options for two factor?

Does anyone know what's up, is it because I started the ball rolling for the older 2 step verification?

Will I get the option for two factor back once I have set up 2 step or reached the security clearance time to complete setup of two step.

Really confused about this as Apple dont really explain this stuff very well.

You should be able to turn on 2 step authentication from any Apple device. 2 step verification is where you go on applied.com.

Hi

Yeah no option to do so, maybe its because I turned it off so I need to wait a few days for the option to re enable shows up again.
