In my troubleshooting quest to resolve my keyboard issue I was told by Apple Support to erase everything and reboot then login and do a restore.
Do all that and login with Apple ID and it says 2 step verification. The problem is the last 2 numbers of my “trusted number” I’ve never heard before. Support tells me without that phone number there is nothing I can do. So everything is lost apparently.
I’ve never heard of this number and would have had to verify it via text when I added it
