-Umm. Woah.

All kinds of jokes coming out of my iBrain right now.

What happens if the Kernel Panics?
If someone logs in as root, can they ~%rm *.* you?
What if the PMU runs hot?
Hardware, Software, Firmware, Wetware upgrades?

Seriously though, flashing back to the present; at my job they replaced my old Dell 400 Mhz P-II with a 2.5 Ghz DELL desktop. I love Macs just as much as anyone; I have a 17". But with the DELL the Apps seemed to come up with a blink of an eye. No spinning beach balls, no bouncing dock icons. Just "WHOOP-THERE IT IS". I was amazed. I hope we don't have to wait long before Apple gets help from somewhere, anywhere reguarding speed and effeciency and I don't mean 6 years from now.:(

I still don't get why 6 was chosen.

Why not Apple in 5 years? Or even 10 years? But 6 years? I don't get it. It doesn't sound very intuitive to choose 6 as a number. Is this due to PC influence? I dunno. Strange. :D

i'm sure its just a random number, there doesn't have to be logic in everything, the point is it doesn't matter...he had to pick something and maybe 6 was the first number he thought of...does it really matter???

So, it generates anything you're thinking of?
You know what men (like me) think of most of the time.... :D

Absolutely its the GUI (or what ever letter you put in frony of UI) that will be the biggest perceived change. Sure there'll be 1Thz processors (LOL), organic memory etc but the UI controlled by iris movement, speech, screen sensors (not touch it gets grubby!).
The poop thread will be grim with the addition of iSmell to Mac OS X (10.9.6.2)

Screens will be huge LCD's custom built to fill a whole wall creating almost holographic feelings a whole wall shows a screensaver of live pics from a beach in Rio or tiny iris projectors linked to iPods as you go about your day.

If your organic memory gets infected with the wrong bacteria (e.g. Windoze PWee) then you lose your life.

There'll still be a war somewhere.......

The most important thing for Apple to work on is price. We've got great software, the machines are plenty fast for most work, but every machine is overpriced.
