Apple installment plan relaxed?

Has Apple released their installment plan credit check/score? I just was approved for installment plan with Apple using my Verizon Wireless account although an disclaimer read a deposit with Verizon maybe required and was only allowed pickup in-store as option. I did not complete order as I just wanted to see if I were to get approved in-time for iP8.
