Installed 18.2 on my M1 iPad Air earlier. Enabled Apple intelligence in settings and after about 4 hours it still says downloading

Updated my iPhone 15 pro here in Ireland. I don’t see the option for Apple Intelligence?

Updated and activated fine (incl Playground) on my iPhone, Mac, and iPad. Required some download time but got there in the end.

Will play with it all tomorrow.

It was working when I set it USA region

But from today it should be working on UK region and language. :-(

Snap. I’ve just left the region an language on US now. Will wait till the UK region and language is fully AI functional, as suggested in the story.

Good to see this. But don't see any problem in setting it to US English and using it. Anyway expecting formal rollout in other languages and other parts of the world in 2025.

It’s obvious. Language.
It's not about the language. Obviously a language that isn't supported couldn't be geo blocked. Apple Intelligence in English (US, Ireland or whatever) is still geo blocked in the EU. For example it says "not available in your country or region" in the Playground app. The app is there but it can not be used.

Is anyone else getting this? Hasn't changed in over 12 hours now. It downloaded to my iPhone 16 pro in minutes

Wow, I miss a few days on MacRumors, I start on the home page and work backwards, and find all the software release info on the second page! Happy days indeed!
