Even worse, I believe it was only 15 Pro. If you bought base model 15 you'll never get it. And that model was from one year prior to when they first announced Apple Intelligence, which is now almost two years ago.

Which when I write it out like that, at first 15 owners felt shafted, but it turns out they never actually missed out on much. By the time the actual "Apple Intelligence rollout is complete" that phone will be nearly obsolete anyway.

In fact if anyone has one they would be better off to trade it in for a base model 17 right now before the trade in values go any lower. And not just for Apple Intelligence.

Wow. That actually makes sense, and that's what makes it a bit depressing. Just wow.

Now that Apple Intelligence is rolled out when can we expect it to actually work with the promised features? Siri has fallen so far behind....

„Apple Intelligence“… 😆😆
Still one of the dumbest names ever. AI… we need our own title… ok… hmm how would be Apple In…. 😅

My teens use a base 14, the other one uses a base 15. They both use free ChapGPT or Gemini.

I struggle to think of a single benefit that Apple-Intelligent-Siri could provide for either of them.

It sounds like the all new iPad is BUILT FOR APPLE INTELLIGENCE from the ground up! Incredible that they were able to build a product from scratch for something that does not yet exist! Apple is really making big moves and now can see the future!

As long as I can toggle it off.
I’d celebrate if it was possible to turn it off. However in Apples World off doesn’t always mean “off”.

When one “turns off their iPhone”, it’s not off completely.

The masters with words and convincing dialogs, smoke and mirrors marketing, they have risen as an amazing profit generating juggernaut.

I’ve already install Gemini on my phone and iPad. Use that almost exclusively now.
My direct comparison using my iPhone 16 Pro Max with Gemini vs my Gemini equipped Pixel 10 is mind boggling.

The iPhones limited usefulness is far greater than anticipated. The Pixels performance is truly impressive.

It’s hard to imagine a substantial improvement even with this new arrangement with Google. While anything is possible, only time will tell.
