not in EU though. iOS18 feels like nothing new in EU
I wouldn't stress it
You're probably just going to "miss out" on a bunch of new bugs

is there anything wrong with thumbnails of tracks making the artwork like how it currently is?
Would you prefer they put out unfinished code? Or maybe wait another entire year to release it. Their approach is right because things released when ready and NOT tied to annual release dates.Yeah iOS releases don’t seem to offer anything other than talk about what’s coming right before the next iOS version is announced
Not on any iPhone but the most expensive, top of the line devices. iOS 18 feels like nothing new on any other iPhone.not in EU though. iOS18 feels like nothing new in EU

Lol big huge world out there sir with many different likes and dislikes. It doesn’t appeal to you? So what?Who actually wants this?
I can’t believe development time is being wasted on baubles of this sort

"Somebody's 10%" that's how Google works, not apple. This is jumping on the AI train and throwing junk at the wall and seeing what sticks.I'm sure their entire development department including every team stopped working and did nothing but this is most likely with either a summer intern project or somebody's 10%.

All major IT companies have a form of 10%. https://www.theverge.com/2012/11/12/3637786/apple-blue-sky-program-employees-personal-projects"Somebody's 10%" that's how Google works, not apple. This is jumping on the AI train and throwing junk at the wall and seeing what sticks.
My playlists have been generating a standard color background instead of the 4 first songs like it used to, ever since iOS 17 was released.
Not sure if that’s a bug or intended.
iTunes used to have a Genius playlist feature. Man, I really miss the old iTunes. They have all the computational ability and all we get is a custom memoji or in this case a playlist artwork maker.
48 kHz is a common sample rate, and the standard for many professional applications. 192 kHz has been common in terms of availability in equipment, but its actual use in everyday audio production and consumption is much less frequent. Not to start an audiophile battle... I see 192 kHz in settings:How about using a little of that Apple Intelligence by removing the silly 24-bit/48kHz limit and support common sample rates of 96-192kHz which has been available in DACs for the last 25 years?

I do believe this is something we should be able to do in Apple Intelligence at some point in the very near future, if it's not in the first iteration. So what's the hold up?
Apple Music isn't new and the Genius feature was decades ago now (literally)
