As a non-native English speaker, I rely heavily on tools to assist me.

During my youth, my mother enrolled me in a writer training program. I express my gratitude for her decision. However, it is uncertain whether the skills I acquired will be relevant in the future.

Incidentally, this hole text was initially spoken and subsequently transcribed by Apple’s intelligent speech recognition technology. It underwent further proofreading assistance using Apple’s intelligent writing tools.
Unfortunately, it still failed you! It should have used Whole text. Not hole text in your example.

Lol. I think Apple felt forced to release this type of AI feature. AI is completely unnecessary if you're a decent writer or are able to hunt around the web for free (or almost free) solutions. The "friendly" mode/edit/whatever is so cringy.

Is this tech going to be the resurrection of:

I love the technology but i also think is going to make us less intelligent. Why learn how to properly write a sentence or a paragraph, when technology can do it for us.

I am from Europe, and English is not my native language. Currently, I use Grammarly to double-check my writing in English. But in Dutch, there is no tool of the same level as Grammarly.

Will it be possible to use the language attached to the keyboard with writing tools? Currently, the keyboard you choose has word suggestions, and that happens in Dutch and English. It would be great if writing tools worked the same way.

What do you think?
