Apple Investigating a Range of Tablet Screens From 4 to 12 Inches?

I can't wait.
MS is just getting around to making a near decent looking mp3 player while Apple is already about to throw cameras in theirs. Not to mention the touch has internet, movies,apps and music out the freaking box!
As for the rumored Apple pad? DAMN!!!
If it happens, I can't wait to be in grad school doing biophysics with that thing by my side. SWEEEEET!!!!

Killer App = Size

For me the only point is the big screen. Thousands of entrepreneurs will design killer apps through the app store. No PC tablet can match that!

I hope they extend this to touchscreen MacBooks. I'd pay $2,000 for a tablet / MacBook Air.

Seems like there's a niche in the smaller Mac category. Not a Netbook as that implies cheap, but a smaller Mac

Who knows, maybe small is "In", in other words, maybe Apple is gambling that it isn't just the price but the form factor and want to introduce an upscale version.

Something they are good at.
