they're not going to build a 7 inch tablet

if you want something portable use your phone

if you want a sit down tablet use your ipad

there's no point to make ipads in increments of every inch or two and create supply chain nightmares, tons of useless inventory, just to satisfy a handful of idiots

Yes, better to stick with the simplicity of stocking eighteen different iPad2 models in the US. (16/32/64GB + White/Black + Wifi/AT&T/Verizon) 😀

If Apple decides there's enough market for a product and it makes sense in their line up, they'll go for it. There was a time when nobody thought they'd enter the netbook/subnote arena -- now look at the popularity of the 11" MBA.
