It really is what you use your smartphone for and what features you need I for one need a smartphone which is small and can be carried around anywhere without feeling like there is a massive slab of electronics in my pocket.

I have an iPad 2 and a 4s which is my first iPhone, but I am seriously thinking and getting a Note and using both for a while. I recently returned a Galaxy Nexus (which was my third Android phone) for the 4s.
So I am not particularly loyal to either OS and would like to hear from anyone currently using both.

We are comparing the smallest smartphone on the market to the largest?! Its like comparing a mini cooper to a hummer! I picked up the Galaxy Nexus last month and IMO if you are going to get a big android phone, I would only go Nexus.
