The fact Apple hasn't yet released the list of a presumed second rollout countries is quite strange. It used to be a week later than the first rollout, and included some asian countries.

From Yahoo

Apple (AAPL) tanked today as investors reacted to the latest iPhone offerings. Shares fell as much as 6% during the day, their biggest plummet in more than five months. As expected Apple unveiled a refresh of the iPhone 5 called the 5S, as well as a lower cost option called the 5C. That model is aimed mainly at emerging markets. It will initially sell for $99 with a service contract. But there are concerns because the price climbs to $733 without a carrier subsidy in China. Here in the U.S. it will sell for $549 without subsidies.

I noticed the $733 price on the 5C compared to the $549 price for US buyers.

Interesting. Good luck, China.

If you add taxes to US price, it will be more than $549. I believe china price is including local taxes.

Samsung Note 3 is slated for worldwide release on September 25th to 30th.

Preorders are beginning on many major telecom companies as well as Samsung stores. For 20-40 USD deposit, they will reserve the phone for you when it is released. Release date on the streets is approximately October 2-10.

Apple needs to catch up as the Samsung Note 3 is bigger, faster, better battery life, multiple apps, can jot down notes, and possibly thinner and lighter.

We know that Apple 5S is a perfect cellphone, but we've been hyped for 6 months now. Time to release. Time to put these babies on the streets.
