Do you think Apple is delaying the white iphone for antenna reason?

I couldn't care less, but I doubt it is a simple "coloring" issue.

As someone who was in publishing for many years - I can say that I am not surprised at all it IS a coloring issue. White's the hardest color to manufacture.

But feel free to put quotes around anything you want and have your conspiracy theories

I am not saying it is a conspiracy or anything. Just saying that there are more likely other problems Apple is having manufacturing the White version etc.

not a very logical theory, but one based in fantasy...APPLE HAS NOT ADMITTED THAT THERE IS A DESIGN FLAW....and REDESIGNING the white iPhone would be an admission that there was a design flaw

I never said redesign. All I said was I don't think paint is the real issue for the delay. But you can believe whatever Apple say and take it to heart.

Ya know, it's not always some grand scheme conspiracy. It's not because they're fixing the antenna and it's not because they're trying to rehype things for a slower part of the year.

Sometimes it's simply that they're telling the truth. It's challenging to manufacture the white to the look and spec they want, so they delayed it.

Steve isn't planning a hostile take over of Texas, China isn't collaborating with Apple to buy America, Jony isn't secretly installing knives that kill children when they touch the white iPhone.

Get a freakin' grip, people!

why would I not believe it...research OCCOMS RAZOR then get back at me....if it's not the paint what would it be? The antenna? obviously Apple has no problem shipping iPhone 4's with this so called antenna "flaw" why fix it now and piss off everyone that bought a black one?

sorry about the spelling error;)

The fact that Apple featured both black & white colors in the majority of marketing materials from day one, makes it clear they loathe their loyal customers. They've sent a clear message that misleading their customers is a practice they employee with no regard for anything other than their agenda.

LOL what?!? last I checked Apple's only agenda was to earn money...it's not a non profit agency son

I can tell you that it is sort of both, it's a coloring issue, but way beyond just the shade of the color.

This!

I'm not sure if it's an American thing to say "I could care less", but it actually gets on my nerves.

I don't think all Americans get it wrong but I've never heard another Brit say it like that.
Likewise. Never heard anyone from the UK say that, but it's littered across these forums.

I don't buy into the conspiracy theories either. If Apple say they're having manufacturing difficulties, they're having manufacturing difficulties. They cannot outright lie.

Yeah because Apple wouldn't love to sell millions of customers a white iP4...

No, I don't think so.…

if it was going to be a hardware fix, all iPhone 4 sales will cease and they would fix them all, not just white.

it is what's been reported, manufacturing issues.
