Hello,

I bought the official black leather case for the iphone x, and it as some raised edges to protect the screen a little bit when u put it face down on a table. I assumed that the edges would have the same height across the whole phone, but i notice it slows downwards a little at the lower edges.

Is this normal, or should i go back and trade it in?

I personally would trade it. The leather cases aren’t as well made as the silicone ones. The latest versions of the silicone are even better fit and finish.

I also notice the same on my Bright Orange Apple Leather case, there is a tiny bit of a downward slope towards the bottom of the screen. There still is a lip though when placing the phone face down on a table.

I would trade your case though, sounds like you have it worse.

I normally go with the Apple Silicone cases, but missed my opportunity to get the Spicy Orange Silicone, had to go with Bright Orange Leather instead... :(
