Hi,

Suddenly, without fall, the case was damaged. Normal using. The case crack on edges
do you have same problem with original iPhone X silicone case like me? This is normal?

Pictures attached.

I had the same thing happen to the Apple silicone case I had for my iPhone 7. I returned it to the Apple store and they replaced it. The new one ended up cracking as well but since I was getting the iPhone X I didn't bother returning it. Needless to say I stayed away from that case for my new phone.

Where did you purchase it from? It looks legit, but the two cracks are unusual for an Apple product.

You should have no issue getting an original Apple case replaced at no cost anyway.

Is it because of the screen protector making the case tight? was using the apple silicone case since I bought my iPhone X, but was uncomfortable with the bottom part not being protected.

Just switched to another silicone case, the Ryokosy Silk Road, just got the case today:

I didn't see it at first either & confused the cracks for Speck design traits.

The cracks are in each lower corner, mirrored perfectly.

Nice case except for the sim opening. Does it have a lining on the sides to prevent scratching of the phone band?

Looks great. If only it didn't have that SIM card cutout...

Agreed. It would have been great, but for the SIM card cutout. :(
Wonder why they decided to leave that extra opening for dust to get in?

I can see it appealing to those who swap SIMS out frequently, like those travelling to other countries who pop in a local SIM so save data costs, but the majority of the market would want a case that's sealed up as much as possible?

True. Obviously because they are trying to position themselves as travel accessories providers.

The Ryokosy case looks cheep, especially in white and without an Apple logo on the bag. The speaker holes look tacky: they should have just left an oval cutout for each speaker. My experience with cheep silicone white cases is they discolor, turning yellowish, over time.

I think it would be really suspicious and cheap if they were using the Apple logo :apple:. I ordered the white by mistake and I already placed another order to get the black ( which was my initial pick) will share some photos once I get it.

It’s cheaply-made because you can see and feel the mold lines—which appear as ridges all around the sides. In an authentic Apple case those seams are completely absent. It’s a good thing you chose tho black color so you avoid the yellowing of the white.

Has anyone tried the Incipio Siliskin Case as an alternative to the Apple Silicone or anyone tried any other alternative? I was thinking about ordering the Incipio, but wanted to see if anyone has tried it first before I do. I really like my Apple Silicone in white, but the open bottom makes me hesitant to use it on a daily basis. I typically just use it at home so I am looking for another white silicone case as an alternative. The sim card opening on the Ryokosy is a deal breaker for me.

I had Apple white silicone case on my 7+ for a year, had no yellowing whatsoever.

Same! My white on my 7 Plus stayed perfect and since it was white you could never notice the normal edge wear you see on the other colors. Been just fine since day one on my X as well. In my pocket every day.

I ordered one and sent it back. The bottom lip is really flimsy.

I got my ultimate set up for my space grey iPhone X:

the black Ryokosy Silk Road silicone case and the 3D supreme Glass screen protector:

You can notice that, without a screen protector installed, the Silk Road case has a small lip.
However once I installed the screen protector I got a perfect match:

I am really in love with this minimalistic all black set up. Happy hunting for those who are still looking:

Looks good. Is that a hard case (Polycarbonate)?

I need a front lip myself, but a minimalist, black setup gets my thumbs up.

The Ryokosy got 2 layers: inner hard PC which gives more protection and gave the case its solid shape and outer silicone layer with soft touch feeling and good hand-grip.
