iPod Apple is against me.

It's official, Apple hates me.

I live in Australia, and so after a generous week and a day (make up for the time difference) since the September 1st keynote I went into my local JB HI-FI store, to find they only had the new shuffles. "cool" I thought, "give it a day, they are probably out the back putting price tags on the iPod nano and touches".

So I skipped off happy in the knowledge I would have my shiny new nano in a day or two. I have returned every day and now they have the new touches, new shuffles and they are yet to stock the nanos 🙁 .

So does Apple in fact hate me? Or is there some problem getting all the stuff out of America?

Non-Apple Store retailers always get them later than the actual Apple Stores. The majority of people that have the new iPods got them from either an Apple Store or the online store; obviously, since it's Apple themselves, there's no messing around with getting supplies of the new products. JB's orders them through a supplier, so I'm guessing there's been some sort of delay in getting them in (from what I've read in other topics, there's lots of stores in the US itself that are still waiting on the new models).
 
You think that they hate you? Well here I live apple hates us really bad. Ipod's usually take a month to go retail. And apple store orders are a mess. So I don't think you should complain😛
 
apple doesnt hate me but fedex does 🙁 my nano shipped on the 8th, i paid for two day shipping and it is still not here and may not be here on Monday 😡
 
The new Nano's are shipping later than the other iPods. Last time I checked the Shuffle/Touch had 5-7 days whilst the nano had 7-10 days.
 
I'm from New Zealand (I love JB, It's my favorite store! 😛) but I find that we're normally on the bottom of the list to get stuff.

I don't think Apple hate us, just give it a day, or a week or so.

yeah i spend a good portion of my money there. but the new annoyance is my brother walked into the store yesterday, and bought an ipod touch 32gb and an ipod shuffle. all the new ones, and still no nanos!!!!
 
Try an Apple Store if you can. I was at the Perth store today and they had every nano colour in both capacities.
 
Well I suppose the only way to guarantee anything would to order it from the online store. Is there any delay is availability through this method where you are?

So, they are kind of late for few days. So, you think they hate you? What is going on with people these days...

if we go by the September 1st announcement that they would be out in a 'week' it has been a horrendous 10 day wait. which is a testament to my ability to hold my fragile "must have" mind together.
 
I bought mine at Future Shop yesterday.. called in right when the store opened and told the salesman that I would personally tip him $5 if he could save the LAST 8GB Graphite Nano. Luckily he did and I headed straight there after school.. kinda comical to see a giant display case completely empty save for one iPod Nano with a little post-it that read my name and phone number - "RESERVED". Oh man, did I get the dirtiest looks from the other customers.... 😀

PS. I gave the guy his 5 bucks if anyone was curious
