I've bought almost every iPhone released over the years, but my 6s is so good there's not going to be a reason to replace it. This might be the end... at least until I lose it or break it.

It's great that you are so satisfied with your new phone! Be warned that Apple is in locked rooms right now trying to figure out how to get you to buy a new phone next year. 🙂
My husband and I are taking bets on if I can hold out for the 7S. I'm thinking I'd like to keep this one for two years. The S is so much more polished and refined compared to my 6Plus that I don't want to go through another non-S experience again. We shall see.

Good point. I don't need more speed than this. I don't need more features than this. I do NOT WANT ANYTHING THINNER. I don't need a higher resolution screen. I don't need 5K. I finally have the perfect phonee -EXCEPT FOR ONE THING - if they put Optical Image Stabilization in the 7s I would make the jump. Other than that, Apple has obsoleted themselves to me.

My feelings exactly- I just want a phone to last long enough to make it my choice to upgrade- not a crashing, overheating, power discharging mess( by by samsung- you disappointed me for the last time)

Will power isn't something I am strong at when it comes to Apple products. iphone 6S, then 7, and iPad Pro here I come! 🙂

That's what I say every year! And when preorder time comes around I stay up late to grab myself a new one. If the iPhone 7 has a great redesign then I will definitely be picking that up.
But I can see your point about not needing another for a long time. The iPhone 6S is definitely one of the best smartphones out right now. Instant Touch ID, 3D Touch, 4K video, 2GB ram. The awesome just doesn't stop.

One would think that future gains will be incrementally smaller, but Apple has a way of making it better every time!
