Ok, I'm not the kinde of person that calls names to people, but man you are an idiot! You don't even notice how stupid you sound writing prosas about minor issues like that. You're the same kind of person that complaints about a sidewalk not being completely straight or whatever being not a 100% perfect. Well I have news for you, we're all human, no-one's prefect. That includes you!

Seriously dude, grow up, get a live!

Some pro-Apple people on this forum are seriously butthurt over any critical comments made. Sad thing, is they fail to understand that this is for our benefit as well as for Apple.

This was used to be a constructive forum - now its just people getting butthurt over any critical comments made on Apple or Apple products. Grow up.

Some of us have our retirement planned around Apple stock hitting $3,000 per share.

Think before you post.

DP3 Update?

Screen Shot 2012-05-07 at 6.23.05 PM.png

Just received a notification of this update in notification centre. I am currently running dp3 as you can see. Am i meant to update this or is this just redundant and an update TO dp3 from dp2?? Anyone else had this happen?
Also i do not have the do not disturb mode in notification centre any ideas.
Thanks much appreciated :)

Mac OS X Mountain Lion Developer Preview 3

I recently updated my mid-2011 iMac to the latest developer preview without any issues. The EFI firmware that did not install correctly in developer preview 2 is resolved in the latest developer preview.

Hope this helps!:)

a major new feature that I noticed is that documents saved on the iPad/iPhone versions of iWork are no longer saved with a -tef extension, meaning that the mobile documents folder car finally be fully used to sync documents back and forth between devices!! this is awesome!!!!

(previously, a pages document was saved as a folder with the name name-of-your-file.pages-tef)

Thanks very much, just did the update for that then and worked flawlessly :D

Come on - is the usual $29 really too much for you? You want Apple to have a revenue stream for this, otherwise they might limit enhancements in the future. Also, no one has to take every update. I didn't take Lion because one of my important photography apps won't work with it.

Like koolmagicguy said here, $29 per upgrade per user is chump change for Apple... a company that is now used to dealing in billions, instead of a few dozen million dollars here and there for users who upgrade. It really is nothing more than a bonus. Apple makes a whole lot more money from selling hardware products than it does software, and I think they know that very well.

If Tim Cook is really bent on making every last million dollar, well then, I don't think that's the Apple I want to be a fan of.
