Is the new Apple slimline aluminum keyboard compatible with a PC?
Yes and vice versa.
i would of thought, with the exception of PS2 and AT type...
they don't work on a Mac, unless you know of an adapter!
PS/2 to USB does exist.
Really?? Well.. i just came across this..
Now i think they do exist..
however, which fool gonna buy an adopter
when a new keyboard could probably be cheaper?? Anyone??
But bottom line, the apple usb will work on my pc? Sweet!
Yes. Just tested. Works fine via USB on pc with XP, no drivers needed.
Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it.
Just got the new keyboard hooked up to my machine, and how nice it is to type on a good keyboard. When you think about it, it's really a novel concept: bringing a laptop (i.e. macbook) keyboard to a desktop. Can you imagine how much money Lenovo could make if they could make a Thinkpad keyboard for a desktop? That would probably be a gold mine. In the meantime, I'll stick to my apple.
