For some reason I prefer to type on the USB wired Apple keyboard. It feels more solid and the angle of the keys seems to be less extreme?

I would have thought they would be same feel, just a different footprint. But the USB keyboard seems to work better for me.

    What ar your thoughts?

I purchased both the wired, and the smaller wireless Apple keyboard, and though I liked them both, I've settled on the wired keyboard of choice.

One reason is the battery requirements on the wireless that I must replace from time to time (No real biggie).

When I do a complete fresh clean install of the OS, I find myself having to connect a wired keyboard first to get the wireless activated. Unknown why. It just does not find the wireless.

Another reason I ditched the wireless keyboard is that for some unknown reason, I loose connection (Not often), and have to play with it to connect again.

Another reason is that the wired keyboard has the added number pad on the right side.
