Apple Killed a Fly

I was sitting here coding on my MacBook Pro (fully specced and daaaamn hot), and a large fly landed right above my F8 key.

It twitched for a second, then fell over, buzzed for a few seconds, then died.

This fly was my pet. I've raised him half my life and... no, but joke aside, it was pretty crazy to see. It happened so fast 🙂
PETA has been notified, and action will be taken 😀

Soo... yeah... saying that these things run hot is an understatement 🙄

My MacBook keyboard is completely bacteria-free. The palmrests have some grease stains from an attempted BBQ. Who knew that you couldn't grill flies?

I'm not surprised really. If you touch your hand against the area above the f keys on my mbp you will immediately withdraw them.

Flies always sit there on my 17er and they are fine, its like sunbathing to them.

The amount of flies who land all around me. now all i need to do is sit around a bunch of MBP and i will stop being bothered if they die on contact.

Are MBPs REALLY that much hotter than PBs? My 12" PB is plenty hot, it's painful to touch around the F keys, I'm not sure I'd want anything even hotter.
