Oh just gag me with a spoon. Apple was a technology company, now they're an entertainment company and a fashion company. Next thing you know, they'll be selling fruit at stands along the highway. Summer's coming, how about some beach balls that can be inflated without a pump? Now that would be a technology triumph! o_O

You can use your Apple Watch to locate it. $129.

anyone paying apple for bands is crazzzyyy. Chinese knockoffs are identical and a fraction of the price... and really killer looking third party bands can be had to apples prices
Probably not knock offs.......probably the same band, by the same people, without the fancy box! Apple is a ripoff!

As I believe that these accessories would be pretty much pointless without the use of phones and watches (technological devices) also made by Apple, your complaint is both nonsensical and unfounded.

I always like their cases but they fail to offer full protection. As long as there is a gap along the bottom edge, the risk is there. I had a similar latex case from Apple on my iPhone 6 Plus and ended up with a chip right there.

very feminine colors
Excuse me
Well, if one was extremely concerned about one's perceived gender identity (masculinity, femininity, etc.), I can see how the color of a watchband might be worrisome.

Fun Fact: the notion of pink/blue colors for girls/boys is surprisingly recent (past 100 years or so), and when first advanced, the suggestion was pink for boys and blue for girls, with pink considered to be "obviously" more manly.

Me, I just see some pretty pastel colors. I like the Spearmint Sport Band.

I don't think you know what the word, "identical" actually means (hint, it doesn't mean "same approximate shape and size"). The knockoffs are nowhere close to identical. Buy them if you want, but don't fool yourself.

It sucks that it’s impossible to find an Apple case for iPhone X, a phone that cost me $1,500 less than a year ago. I get that they want to focus on the Xs and Xs Max but surely they have stock for the iPhone X and can continue to produce them in smaller quantities. Sell it on the online store at least. I tried other retailers but they said that Apple no longer provides them with the stock. Anyone know where I can get a case?

Thats a lie. More like knockoff silicones attract dust, and leathers are cheap.

Try out a knockoff sport band and compare it to an Apple sport band. The materials are completely different. Yes, the bands are expensive, but they last unlike much of the knock off junk out there.

That is absolutely true. The Sport Loop bands on the other hand are just about the same. I have both. Close enough for me. I’m happy with the 13 I have. Going through Apple, I’d only have 3-4 for the same cost. They got my money with my iPhone, iPad, MacBook Pro, iMac, Apple Watch and Apple TV. And probably AirPods soon. I don’t mind taking my watch band business elsewhere.

Have they sneaked the band prices up again in the UK? I’ve got 44.40 paid in Sept 18 in my receipts. £49 online now.

Do you have a link for the sport loops you have. Theres a few sport loop colors I want. Just haven't wanted to pay for them.. Would be great to get roughly the same quality for a fraction of the price.

The links I have are dead. I just go to Amazon, type Apple Watch Sport loop and go with one with decent reviews. They even use the same names. Pay attention to the photos. Some of them look similar, but not the same thing. Like you slip the loop through a hole in the band or something odd.

I just received the rest of my birthday order last week. Here’s my current collection. I believe there is one genuine Apple band in that photo, the rest were $5-$10.

If Apple didn’t make watchbands, there would be so many people asking I wish Apple made their own bands.

It’s a wearable that Apple wants marketed as a fashionable product. Updating the colors is just a way of staying on trend with other companies in the fashion world.

Besides if you’re an investor. This has to be your favorite product. They are probably made for less then 4USD$ if that and sold for 12x as much.

Watch bands are great because so many people have Apple Watches, you can have a unique flavor. The people who seem proud to just own one band apparently don't do wardrobe matching activities.

Until a few minutes ago, I was unaware that my Apple Leather iPhone X case is an antique  and no longer available from Apple. I plan to keep the X for at least another year, and only like the Apple Leather cases, so just bought a spare from a US eBay seller who is advertising new ones for less than half the original price. Fingers crossed

Disappointing Update: I was hoping for new old stock, but I’m pretty sure it’s a decent looking counterfeit. That probably wouldn’t bother me so much, it looks really good and apparently nobody is still selling the genuine X version, but, and it’s a big but, they used the XS mold, so the irony is its got the same large camera opening I was trying to avoid if I’d have just bought a genuine XS case for my X. It never occurred to me to put it on the iPhone prior to today, because it looked fine, aside from suspicious package details, so I’m too late to return it. Old lesson relearned.

I do have some bands and it is great to be able to chose, but for that very reason I buy knockoffs on Amazon for a few $ each. I like original straps, but if you buy a few of them you end up spending the same money as a brand new Watch, and I can't justify spending that much. The fake milanese loop I bought last year was less than $10, I use it sometimes and it feels great. No need to spend 10x more for the original, especially when I'm wearing the Watch sport model.
The stainless steel is more elegant, you pay more but I know it feels and look way better, so if you have that model it makes sense to buy fancy straps and pay a little extra for them, but I'd say the majority of people wear the sport model and silicon bands are the way to go.

By the way, they released bands yesterday so I guess we can expect one more product today and another one on Friday. Otherwise why release the bands alongside the new AirPods?
