Umm ok I do like the concept of this... but it's not necessary... ease of use on iPhone is perfect.

Instead of a website, they should create an apple pay app for iPad.

It gives you a way to still pay the card without an iPhone in the event you switch.

I just applied for my Apple Card. This was the MAIN thing holding me back. I don't want to depend on one singular device to be able to access my financials, ever. Before I couldn't even use my Macs!

Also the $50 bonus Apple Cash helped too... But this was the main factor. I know I'm stubborn about these things but having redundant means to do important things is a big deal to me.

EDIT: Yay already approved and active! Holy ****, I think that was the easiest credit card application I've ever done.

This is good but I’d also want a native iPad app. That would be perfect for me.

It also allows Apple Card to be used without the need to own an iPhone or an iPad for the first time, which is a major change.

But wouldn’t you be limited to use the physical card and only get 1% cash back? Who would want to use the card that way?

Where do you see current activity on this site? When I pull up my Capital One card on their website I get a list of all recent transactions including ones that are pending. On this site all I see are statements.

I’m hoping that, paired with an Apple ID App-Specific Password, this will allow us to directly import data to Banktivity. Probably wishful thinking...

Software Updates. In order to ensure complete access to your Account and that you receive required updates, we ask that you please update to the latest version of iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, or macOS on the devices you use with Apple Card.

So if you’re not on the latest version of iOS, you might not be able to use your card anymore?

Managing from the Wallet app on your iPhone is still ridiculously easy. The feature I'd most like is integration into tools like Mint, so I can get a broader overview of my finances at any given time - your Apple Card counts towards the credit score shown in Mint already, you just can't get at your transactional data.

This is a step in the right direction. I just don't get why everyone caters to mobile devices. Why not make something suitable for both? It's like taking a step back. We have larger and better displays than we have ever had, and everyone starts catering to tiny mobile devices and limiting the amount of content displayed. Show me more and not less!

This is so true. I'm seeing apps and services that are mobile only...

I spend hours a day at a desk with a big beautiful iMac display; I don't want to have to be messing around with my phone while I'm there!

Apple today launched a website that's designed to allow Apple Card holders to check their balances, view statements, and make Apple Card payments online.

applecardwebsite.jpg

The card.apple.com website lets Apple Card holders sign in with their Apple IDs. The website features a payments section that shows card balance front and center, along with the next scheduled payment date, and total card limits.

Monthly statements can be viewed and downloaded through another section of the website, while Settings allows users to add a bank account, manage scheduled payments, or see their Mastercard network benefits. A support section of the website provides access to an Apple Card web user guide and a phone number that customers can call to get help.

All of these functions were previously available in the Wallet app, but having online access to Apple Card tools is useful for those who prefer managing their credit cards from their computers rather than their iPhones. It also allows Apple Card to be used without the need to own an iPhone or an iPad for the first time, which is a major change.

Apple is also now allowing new Apple Card applicants to apply directly from the Apple.com website using any browser when purchasing a product using the Apple Card Monthly Installments option, a feature which previously required the Apple Store app or a Safari web browser. To reflect the new changes today, Apple is sending out emails to customers letting them know about updates to their customer agreements. As highlighted yesterday, Apple is running a promotion for new Apple Card users at the current time, providing $50 Daily Cash when the Apple Card is first used to pay for an Apple service like an App Store purchase, Apple Arcade, or Apple Music.

Article Link: Apple Launches Website for Paying Apple Card Bills Online

I notice that Apple STILL is nowhere near to releasing Apple Card in the UK, we do not even get Apple Pay Cash despite being launched years ago. What is it with apple and their total lack of any regard for us in the UK?
I appreciate that some people will defend apple by saying that it is difficult and not easy. Yes that may be true however if they can launch it in the US then they can do so in the UK and rest of the world. They just in my view do not give a **** about us. I guess we should be grateful Apple condescend to sell us the odd iPhone or two.
I am getting fed up with the way we are treated, Apple should get their **** together and stop acting as though the US is the only country in the world!

Great, sez I. Now I can download my statement direct into Quicken, sez I.

Not so fast, sez Apple. Statements only available in PDF format from the website.

Apple 1, I 0.

You didn't read my post, did you?

This is not about paying the bill. This is about her knowing how much the autopay will be...
i'm confused why you have to tell her when you both have separate cards. You cant have two cards on the same phone. what does she use as her phone...

Er....er....

She has a her own phone, Apple ID and Apple card.

I have my own phone, Apple ID and Apple card.

This isn't rocket science...

Finally starting to get feature parity with all other credit cards. What we really need is paper statements. I literally pay my Apple Card bill at every chance I think of it (make a full payment every 1-3 days) just because I’m paranoid that I’m going to forget about it. I’m old school but I need those paper statement reminders every month.

What I do is I adjust things to make sure all my bills are due around the same time each month (towards the last week of the month). Then, I set a recurring monthly iCloud reminder "Pay your bills" to go off a few days before the first thing is due. I have a list of things I need to pay, and I just go through it.

Works pretty well, and I haven't been late on anything in years.

If your due dates are all over the month you can frequently adjust them; talk to your payees.
