Yes, I agree, the Memoji is getting out of control in a lot of Apples marketing.
And, in MR avatars, too! ;)
Whatever happened to creative expression? They use to have a lot of cool play on words. I guess they are specifically targeting the teens and 20 somethings since it’s the largest demographic.
Yup, and you can take solace in the knowledge that, in about 20-30 years, THOSE people will be typing words much similar to these :) That is, unless Apple wants to copy JCPenny’s!

(To be fair, JCPenny DID just come out of bankruptcy under new management, though. Maybe they’ll start marketing to the “younger than 70” demographic?)

I'm wondering, if I say I so don't like these plastic corporate-happy creepy baby-like memoji faces, am I considered racist or not?

Wow...people really do complain about the smallest things, don't they?
Apple has been known about their scrupulous attention to detail, rivalled only by diplomatic institutions, so if they start slipping, it shows. I sure would complain, since their attention to detail is rumored to contribute at least $64 to the price of every iDevice dearer than $200.

Is there going to be an official Twitter hashflag for this event? That's what I'm really looking forward to, more than anything they could possibly announce at the event itself!

Anyone else think that the use of face Memoji on the invitation means we'll be getting Face ID on the MacBook Pros? Sure seems that way to me.

Is it just me, or are two of the memoji (on the right side of the pic, last column) missing a lens each in their glasses? Each wearing a frame with one lens and one clear. Mistake… or apple glasses… or???

Either announce iPads allowed to run Mac Apps, or new Macs 🖇
