Apple Launching a Record Label at MWSF?

According to the below report, Apple is preparing to launch a music label with Jay-Z:

If true, it would represent an interesting and important development for Apple.

If allowed under the settlement with Apple Corps., then this still seems too good to be true. However it would provide content that sells iPods, so you never know.

It'd be quite interesting to see how the relationship between Apple and the other record companies would fair if Apple did indeed create their own label.
