48mp telephoto on the iPhone Pro is enough for me to upgrade and then I don’t see myself upgrading my iPhone as often anymore because it’s basically feature complete for me. But I’ve heard it might only be 3x or 3.5X optical with 48mp which means it would be 7x at 12mp and that is less exciting to me. Although there are times when I wish the telephoto was a bit less long. I think 4x to 8x would be more ideal for me.

AirPods Pro is always a day one purchase no matter what. Probably the closest to perfect and maybe my most used Apple device since it connects to everything.

I always buy whatever new Apple TV comes out just to keep my house reasonably up to date, and then the next oldest goes to the next TV and so on.

I want to downsize to the 11” iPad Pro but I might wait for the M6. The M5 is still on 3nm. Don’t see much point in upgrading any of my M devices until 2nm drops since it will be a bigger bump.

I am really interested in a new studio display. All I want is 5K mini LED with Pro Motion 120Hz to match my MBP. I’d also take OLED. I’m currently using several LG 4K displays and I’m ready for an upgrade. 6K 32” would also be cool but I doubt it will happen yet in this price range, but I might be willing to pay more for it if it’s cool. But at that point it might be too close to the XDR unless they upgrade that to like 42-48” 8K OLED dual panel like the iPad to make it brighter or something.

3x telephoto is a great option tho, I miss my iPhone 14 Pro Max

The Apple Watch Ultra 3 won't have stand-alone satellite connectivity. All the other AWU updates seem plausible, but in order to have satellite connectivity you need an antenna too big for the AWU form factor. It MIGHT be possible with Starlink satellites because they are in a low orbit, but I don't see a lot of synergies (including personal) in that alliance.

Meh, seems like a fairly typical release year. May upgrade from my 15pro max if the 17 is compelling enough. Honestly the only thing I'm interested in would be the AirPods Pro 3.

Apple is moving the whole Air range to middle while normal naming becomes the entry. This is already a thing for iPad, and is happening on iPhone.

I am wondering if Apple will introduce M5 MacBook Air but starts at $1099 instead.

Making the A18 Pro MacBook $799.
