I want you to remember my prediction. there will be no iPad 4 rerelease. There is no reason to replace an iPad 2 with a cheap alternative iPad since the iPad mini non retina covers that. This analyst is not right 95% of the time and most of his predictions are common sense predictions almost every single time which have already been assumed. The ones he thinks of all on his own usually never ever pan out.

I remembered, and you were wrong.

I don't even know why we listen to analysts.

Yeah, that's totally crazy. We should clearly be listening to people like you instead.

They make the same guess you and I would from knowledge on nothing more than reading websites I am sure.

[...]

And in my opinion this guy is unreliable and just takes a shot in the dark guesses pretty much all the time. 50% of the time he's right. Which isn't hard.

I guess he just got lucky this time. Again.

Lastly I am thinking there will not be an iPad 4 rerelease considering there is an iPad mini non retina available for $299. There you go more reliable guesses from some one who is not a professional analyst but most likely will be right with more than 75% of them.

I guess you just got unlucky this time. But you seem to have deep inside knowledge and good analytic skills, keep it up, next time you'll probably get it right.

No, he doesn't. He makes a lot more predictions than most analysts, revising them nearly weekly. When you release that many predictions, some of them are bound to come true. In his case, the ones that do are ones anyone could have predicted (new iPad with A7 fall 2013). The ones that are unique to him almost always fail (there will be no iPad 4 restart, Apple has never started marketing a discontinued product and never will. The fact that he believes that shows he's out in left field).

Soo... How are you feeling about this statement now? Apple are dropping the ipad2 and have relaunched the ipad4.

USB and 250Gigs

I don't know why Apple thinks we all want a paper-thin tablet. I just don't quite get why they think sooo thin is soooo perfect.

I'd much rather have a USB port and a 250 Gig capacity. If Apple could do this, I'd buy it today. Seriously, my sweet iPad 2 which has served me wonderfully is ready to retire.

What you want is called the MacBook Air.

And I'm sorry to say that I agree with you. And as a consumer, that doesn't make me happy. For all the praise and glory heaped on the iPad Air, there are some major problems with it.

This doesnt seem to be the case for me and many others though. I believe you guys when I read about safari reloads, crashes, etc, etc btu I can NEVER replicate any of the conditions using the provided steps. There have been a few specific sites that cause a crash but they are sites that dont mean squat to me so they dont matter anyways. One was a Nine Inch Nails website which probably gets about 5 hits a month now. Its like who freegin cares?

Other than that, my Air screams performance wise and runs everything like a champ. I either got lucky or there is a LOT more behind this than simply RAM. Im not sold at all that its the RAM quantity and adding 2GB suddenly makes everything 100% better. We'll see.

My issue isn't with crashing, that has been virtually eliminated since the 7.1 update. The tab reloading hasn't changed at all since day one. I don't go out of my way to try to make it reload. If I have a few tabs open and go back and forth between them after staying on one tab for a few minutes, they reload. I have no idea why it does it, obviously Apple doesn't consider it a problem as they have totally ignored it and never even make reference to it. I'm still betting heavily that the iPad Air 2 will have more RAM. Apple has short changed the iPad on RAM since day one. They use the minimum amount.

No new iPad Mini? I doubt that.

I doubt that also. Even if they just do the same design form with the A8 chipset and maybe Touch ID there will be something.

As for the 'no iPad Pro this year' that reeks of analyst CYA. Same as when they kept talking about the 'delays' for the real TV
