Apple Laying the Foundation for To-Do Integration?

Step One. We can sync* Notes and To-Do Lists to the iPhone. Apple has inched forward with Leopard.

Curiously, when one receives a Apple Mail To-Do it comes with a MIME-Attachment. In other words, data is attached to the email that the iPhone cannot understand (yet?). Is it possible that this is the foundation for integration into Calendar.app and possibly even an integrated alarm? It would make sense to have a badge notifier on Calendar.app icon.

Perhaps I am giving Apple too much credit?

Mail 3.0 as long as you have your .Mac Account setup. Just create a ToDo and it will sync in iTunes.

They appear in the .Mac Email Menu as a folder. Make sure to check preferences and make sure things are set correctly.

ok,
i've moved my to do in mail 3 from mac (local) to .mac (i need to create a new to do to make .mac folder appears).

so now in ical my (old local) to do changed and i insert them in a new calendar

the .mac to do are exported and are now syncronized to iphone

The problems still there:
1) on .mac web site appears only a Notes folder, NO To do folder at all !
2) on iPhone to do are saved in Apple Mail To Do BUT lack of to do date !!!
3) on iPhone all to do saved in Apple Mail To do has a Mime-attachment (?)
4) If i create a note on iPhone it's not syncronized on a Mac
5) If i try to create a todo on iPhone it's impossible !

i came from Palm OS and frankly, i find all that really INCONCEPIBLE !!!
Any more suggestion in case of some more things to setup is highly appreciated.
