My first black leather case for my 6 was loose. Drove me nuts. Replacement is tight. I have the silicone and leather cases for my 6. Like the leather better because it's thinner.

this is my third try and its going back also...first one a drop of water got on the back...it started to bubble up.....second one did not fit well at all...
third one again water (condensation from a beer bottle on a bar) the entire back is water marked now..from where the drops hit the case...bubbling up...

taking it back and going with the silicone or maybe otterox commuter...

same things happened with my olive brown. I took it back and exchanged it for the same color and it's fine now.

I ended up getting a third. The third fit better than the first two but still felt some slack. Might just give up buying an apple case.

I did buy the silicone as well and holy cow, that is grippy. Def won't be using that one.

I have another one to report. Black leather case for iPhone 6.
Loose on both sides, below the power and volume buttons but above the bottom left and right corner.

I thought it improved and became tighter after a while. But the moment I left the air con room, the sides became loose and started creaking again. Go figure.

Anyway, returning it. New one is coming tmr. For the amount I am paying Apple, I am going to get one that fits...

I got the pink silicon, brown and mid night blue leather cases. They all fit perfectly with my 6+.

You might just have a bad one. When they made millions of it, there will be quite a few of the bad ones out there, no matter how good their quality control.

Wanted to know if I just have bad luck when it comes to cases.

I bought a midnight blue (absolutely lovely) for an iPhone 6. When I put the case on and grabbed the phone I could feel a little space between the case and the phone on the sides. It's very slight but you can feel that's it's not hugging the phone 100%. That's not to say there isn't any movement. But when you do put slight press on the sides of the phone (like a firm grip). You can feel the case kinda pressing in and making contact with the phone when it should be like that originally.

I tried that with two leather cases and found to have the same issue. Thinking whether I should go silicone?

I had a black leather that did this exact thing. Returned it and waiting on silicone.

I purchased the blue one as well on day 2 and it fits very snug on my 6 plus. I would definitely go back to Apple for an exchange. Especially if you had to pay the steep price they are asking for. I had the same thing happen to my brown case and when I went back they tried 4 more and we're all the same. They tried to tell they are supposed to be that way. But when they tried my blue one, had no explanation. Since the Apple Store I almost 2 hours from my home. The manager connected me to AppleCare and they sent me a brown leather case for free.

Yes! Same issue with my midnight blue on the iPhone 6.

Had an iPhone 6+ with the brown leather case and that one fit much much better and seemed to be stiffer leather, while this midnight blue feels softer.

.....my 'midnight blue' dopes the same exact thing!
It is very very slight but sometimes (doesn't happen all the time), when i grab my phone from the desk, I can feel (on the right side of the case, just underneath the power button) the tiniest of movement in the case.

Its like when I grab it, I am pressing the case onto the phone (its difficult to describe!) - sometimes the case make a slight noise as it is being pressed.

I have put it down to the leather stretching and retracting under certain conditions so its not enough for me to send back.

Exhanged my 4th leather case yesterday. Got home and put the case on the phone. Fit sucks just like the rest. Bought a silicone also while I was there fit is like a glove. I think the reason they don't fit snug like the silicone is :

The silicone has micro fiber on the sides on the inside of the case. The leather does not and makes it not as snug. Sticking with the silicone.

For people exchanging it and having problems with multiple cases, why are you not putting them on in the store to make sure the fit is good before you leave?

I bought mine from Bethesda row and Montgomery. I agree about the silicone issue. Might try my hand one last time tomorrow. The blue is too pretty to pass up.

I find Annapolis is the best when it comes to accessories. Its been hit or miss for me at other Apple stores.

Had the same issue with the Apple black leather case for my 6+. Exchanged it for another Apple black leather case and now the fit is perfect. The manufacturing tolerances on these cases seem to be hit or miss. It annoyed me enough to exchange and if it is bothering you I would suggest the same.

You might want to try putting the case on another iPhone and see if it does the same. If not then you know your phone might be bent .
