Apple leather case pic thread

They feel different. The 6S version feels like vinyl. Maybe if you haven't used a 6 leather for the past year you won't care but if you have you will tell the difference.
I bought a cheap skin off eBay and only use the bottom so it is covered with the case covering everything else.
Ill have to go check it out in store because the apple leather case is the only case i've used from they time the became available.
Maybe the new leather is more durable. The previous ones were terrible. The leather on the Apple Watch leather loop is is much better imo.
Because last year threads like these were full of complaints that the Analine leather were changing color too fast and ' how could Apple sell such a crappy product'
So they use more standard leather finish for leather products that are handled often.
The original color on the 6S cases should hold up better. It's not analine anymore.

Honestly for those who are still doubting this case you haven't given it long enough.
I have had my saddle brown for literally 8 days and it's awesome.
1- grip definitely comes after a week or two, no doubt.
2- patina is so damn nice, if you don't like it- use a water based conditioner and wash your dirty hands!
3- fit, no issue here- it will form around your phone.
4- quality is definitely above that of the previous generation, also more resistant to those deep scratches of the 6.
5- stiffness of buttons, 100% soft and clicky after a week, more you use it more soft it feels
6- get a skin to protect the bottom for the ultimate sexy look (better for those who own the space grey version)

Thanks for the sum up, really helps me get a better idea of the leather covers; I'm looking at the midnight blue one.
Good to hear that it's possibly to wash them with conditioner. But my biggest worry is that Apple is leaving the bottom open, where I know most dust and stuff from pockets likes to get stuck.
So @6: got any particular protection skin you could recommend?

I had this case last year looked great the first few weeks after that it turned black and looked really bad.
I had the leather case for my iPhone 6+ last year the whole time I had it. Never ever had an issue with the bottom being open. I don't think it that big of deal. Had no scratches at all.
