Apple Leather Case users

Has the phone protected you during a hard drop or have you had damage due to any drops? Love the case, but need to make sure my investment is protected.

I’ve dropped my phone in the Apple leather case and the phone was fine, case took a beating though, as it was dropped onto asphalt.

Obviously I got super lucky that it didn’t fall on the screen. Still the only cases I put my phone in.

I drop mine all the time. Never had a shatter but the corners of the leather get jacked up somewhat easily on asphalt/concrete. That doesn't bother me too much though.

I dropped my X quite a few times and no issues in the Apple leather case. Obviously, drops on something pointed directly on the screen can still cause problems.

I’ve dropped my X from my lap sitting down onto my cement driveway and it survived just fine.
