I wanted to grab one too, but i'm a bit concern on how many cards it can hold, and how secure it will keep the card(s) in place.
I don’t think the magnet will be strong enough to hold the wallet thru the case.
MagSafe charging will work thru a normal case, it might not just stick as much. MagSafe works on older iPhones so, I’m sure this will work too
MagSafe cases have additional magnets to help secure accessories. Wait until reviews are out to see if a non-MagSafe case will work.

This is an unnecessary product. An overpriced solution looking for a problem.
Ordered just now and got delivery Nov 25. Thats like 6 weeks away.

It’s designed to protect the magnetic strips according to Apple’s website so it shouldn’t be a concern.
I really wish they would put a place holder for the leather cases so we could see the color options. The silicon cases are too grippy when trying to take them out of a pocket. I feel like taking my phone out of jeans ends up also removing my jeans LOL
I like the color block options this year. I hope they have an orange leather case, which would pair well with a silver phone and blue wallet.
Or a blue leather case, which would pair well with a graphite phone and orange wallet.
Either way, I ordered both an orange and blue wallet. I was surprised to see they only allowed 1 wallet per Apple ID. I had to use my wife’s Apple ID to get the second wallet. Will cancel one of them once Apple unveils the leather case.
I got a plum silicone case and a California poppy leather wallet and I'm using them for a 12 Pro pacific blue - Colour clash galore LOL
I’ve ordered a blue one as at the moment I carry a very small wallet with just a couple of cards in it in case there’s an issue with Apple Pay. If I’m out on a long run I might also stick a £10 note in there for emergencies, so while it might seem a novelty for some, I think its quite a neat solution.
Do we know if credit cards in the wallet will affect Apple Pay? I don’t want random credit cards in the wallet to be activated instead of Apple Pay when I tap and go.
I’m pretty sure they said that the wallet is shielded from the magnets, but is it RF shielded too? I didn’t see that mentioned.
They must have thought of that issue because I’m sure people present their phones in different ways according to habit when they use Apple Pay on it.

Probably because they know how people are. Oh no my card has a scratch... I can't go on! This is all Apple's fault for not telling me not to put it in my wallet. I demand a new card!
Going to love taking just my phone out with me when I leave the house with the wallet on the back. No more having to deal with a separate wallet.
