I did the same just now. I was surprised to see the dates slipping so far back already.MagSafe cases have additional magnets to help secure accessories. Wait until reviews are out to see if a non-MagSafe case will work.
Ordered a Saddle Brown wallet, arriving Nov 3–10 according to the email.
Was just coming to check this, I ordered Saddle Brown, says so in order confirmation and did all morning... now it shows black on my app
So I had the same thing happen to me. I spoke to an Order specialist. At first they told me it was just a glitch. But he checked again and then told me that due to the high volume of orders, they had a part number error so I was hence getting the black one. They promised to take care of the issue. But without me having any input, what that meant was they canceled my order (I got an order cancelation for the wallet), and then they sent me a shopping bag with the right wallet, telling me to place the order again. But now with a shipment date of late November/early December. :-( Pretty bummed about the outcome but I guess I can just wait for them to be release in the stores and see them before buying again or seeing other alternatives. I was just surprised they would cancel without checking with me. I could have used the black one until the right one shipped, etc.Same, I'm hoping this is just an ordering system glitch

My black, which is showing brown, still says November 3-10.
I will likely do the same, but as far as I know mine always said saddle brown (which is what I ordered). Never saw it switch to black, but I guess it could have changed overnight without me noticing it. Too bad Apple will never explain the mess up. Could at least send an email saying shipping date has changed. I love them, but when they mess up they rarely acknowledge it.Quoting myself as it upgraded in the last hour. Now it shows black properly but shows Nov 25 - Dec 3. Looks like they are indeed canceling the ones showing incorrectly and reordering. I'll leave this order open and try to pick one up locally and cancel this when I do.
I dont understand why early orders are supposed to be happy with their screw up and dates of end of November and December! When an order at 8:01am EST said Nov 3rd deliver!?!?! Beyond frustrating!
