Just the store mess up. My wallet changed for colour and screen protector changed from clear to privacy. Hope it will be recorrected. It not, we will see **** hitting the fan with all orders.
 
Placed an order for California poppy - arrives 31/10 - 07/11.

Seems like Apple underestimated demand yet again.

So I had the same thing happen to me. I spoke to an Order specialist. At first they told me it was just a glitch. But he checked again and then told me that due to the high volume of orders, they had a part number error so I was hence getting the black one. They promised to take care of the issue. But without me having any input, what that meant was they canceled my order (I got an order cancelation for the wallet), and then they sent me a shopping bag with the right wallet, telling me to place the order again. But now with a shipment date of late November/early December. :-( Pretty bummed about the outcome but I guess I can just wait for them to be release in the stores and see them before buying again or seeing other alternatives. I was just surprised they would cancel without checking with me. I could have used the black one until the right one shipped, etc.
 
Yeah...i experienced all the glitches. i ordered a black wallet shortly after preorder launch time. The shipping showed 11/3. Then last night i saw the wallet change to Saddle Brown and was confused and bought i might have ordered brown and just left it alone. Then i just woke up this morning and it reverted back to Black, which i confirmed through my email confirmation but the shipping slipped to November 23rd! My hope is that all of this is just a apple store site glitch due to the heavy load.

Well, that’s interesting. I originally ordered black (now showing brown), but will take whatever shows up on Nov 3 and just keep an eye out for local store pickup if it’s indeed the wrong color.
 
Same issue here. Ordered black and poppy and the black changed this morning to brown. Right now talking with an Apple specialist to see what they can do.
 
Blue still showing Nov 3-10 now showing Nov 10-17..... I ordered it first thing yesterday morning though. Glad I did as it looks like out to December now....
 
My wallet changed back to brown over night and now shows late November to December instead of 3rd-10th I originally had
 
Mine seems to be in limbo too. I ordered brown but says black with no status... just says "COMPLETE". Guessing mine will be cancelled and reordered with a later date like others have said.

My black, which is showing brown, still says November 3-10.

Quoting myself as it upgraded in the last hour. Now it shows black properly but shows Nov 25 - Dec 3. Looks like they are indeed canceling the ones showing incorrectly and reordering. I'll leave this order open and try to pick one up locally and cancel this when I do.

I will likely do the same, but as far as I know mine always said saddle brown (which is what I ordered). Never saw it switch to black, but I guess it could have changed overnight without me noticing it. Too bad Apple will never explain the mess up. Could at least send an email saying shipping date has changed. I love them, but when they mess up they rarely acknowledge it.
 
I dont understand why early orders are supposed to be happy with their screw up and dates of end of November and December! When an order at 8:01am EST said Nov 3rd deliver!?!?! Beyond frustrating!

When I talked to Apple yesterday and was given the option of canceling and reordering with the new ship date, I was unhappy and told them. They pretty much said, "Sorry? It's all we can do." My question is, if all the orders are screwed up and had to be re-ordered who is actually getting them in that original Nov 3-10 window? Someone has to get them unless they are saying they are all delayed.

My hope is when they "fixed" the issue the new dates are showing whatever the most current date is if you order now, but somehow our orders will hold their place in line and ship first.
 
Support had no real answers, other than the dates changed and there’s nothing they can do. Told them they may here more about this error & the response was “Well this is the first I’ve heard of it and I’ve been here since 5AM PST”
 
MacRumors, or another tech site, should write an article about it and ask Apple for a comment and see what they say.

I ordered black, changed to brown overnight with delivery date Nov 10 - Nov 17 and now it's showing DELIVERED in the Apple Store app (iPhone) and COMPLETE in my online account. What a mess this Apple Store.....

Well my order went back to being black from saddle brown. But they delayed my order!!! WTF APPLE WTFFFFFFFDDF
